Requirements

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role in a quantitative field
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex technical findings in a clear and actionable manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working in a remote environment
  • Proficient in English (additional languages are a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract useful insights that inform strategic business decisions
  • Develop, validate, and implement predictive models and statistical analyses
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver actionable recommendations based on data findings
  • Create data visualizations and reports to present results and insights to non-technical audiences
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of existing data models and implement improvements as necessary
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science methodologies and technologies to maintain a competitive edge

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with databases (SQL) and data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)
