Summary

Join Lemonade's Data Science Pricing team as a full-stack data scientist and lead innovations in AI-driven insurance pricing. You will collaborate with actuaries and product teams, developing and deploying models across various product lines. This role demands expertise in Python, SQL, and high-scale projects, along with 1-3+ years of experience or a relevant Master's degree. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from strategy to deployment, and will contribute to the adoption of advanced data science within the insurance organization. Requirements

• 1-3+ years of practical data science / actuarial experience, or Master of Science (MSc) or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Fluent in Python for software development, as well as model building
• Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects
• Ability to work EST/EDT business hours

Responsibilities

• Research and apply advanced solutions to real business problems
• Take full responsibility for projects end-to-end, from high-level business strategy all the way through production deployment
• Collaborate extensively with the Actuarial team to develop, file, implement, and monitor new predictive models for our Home, Renters, Car, and Pet products
• Apply and inspire the adoption of advanced data science throughout our Insurance organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in InsurTech or Fintech
• Proficient in SQL
• Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
