Summary

We are looking for a experienced Data Scientist to join the Moodle Research team. The Data Scientist will work on various AI projects, focusing on data quality and maximizing AI performance. Responsibilities include automating data flows, model training, benchmarking, staying current on state of the art techniques, and collaborating with the team to roll out new products. Required qualifications are 6-8 years of total IT experience, 5+ years in Data Science, proficiency in Python, R, SQL, adaptability to new technologies, model training experience, data-based decision making skills, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of Design Thinking. Requirements

• 6-8 years of total IT experience
• 5+ years in Data Science
• A passion for writing high-quality readable code (Python, R, SQL, etc)
• Ability to adapt and use new technologies
• Experience with the basics of model training, fine-tuning and RAG techniques
• Heavy focus on data-based decision making and research process
• Excellent communication skills with non-technical team members
• Understanding of Design Thinking
• Commitment to quality work
