Summary
NuvoLogic Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis to collaborate with cross-functional teams and design, develop, and deploy predictive models. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, proficient in Python, R, SAS, SQL, and statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SAS
- Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Identify, collect, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends
- Use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models and develop data-driven solutions
- Develop and implement data processing pipelines to clean, transform, and organize data for analysis
- Apply data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and translate them into analytical questions
- Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data science and machine learning
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RShiny data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
