Data Scientist

Summary

NuvoLogic Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis to collaborate with cross-functional teams and design, develop, and deploy predictive models. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, proficient in Python, R, SAS, SQL, and statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SAS
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends
• Use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and implement data processing pipelines to clean, transform, and organize data for analysis
• Apply data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and translate them into analytical questions
• Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of data-driven solutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data science and machine learning
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RShiny data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
