Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD degree in an Finance, Business, Actuarial, or Analytics related field
  • 2 years of experience in data mining, modeling using SAS, SQL, R/Python
  • Experience in the consumer credit industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with solid business acumen
  • Exceptional written and communication skills, and ability to explain complex insights to a range of audience
  • Strong technical skills such as SAS, R/Python, AWS Sagemaker and ability to independently access and analyze data using Snowflakes in AWS Cloud and on prem SQL environment
  • Knowledge and experience with AI/ML and credit bureau data

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate disparate and large datasets for use in reporting, analytical, and modeling work
  • Mine, model, and analyze large datasets utilizing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
  • Develop insights from historical performance data, identify opportunities, and develop solutions using various analytical techniques
  • Develop and support machine learning and statistical models for use in predicting credit outcomes, and/or identifying and quantifying various risks
  • Design and deploy model monitoring frameworks to assess the performance of deployed models
  • Advise senior management of emerging trends and risks
  • Collaborate with vendors and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately and as designed
  • Conduct other ad hoc analyses as required to support team goals

  • Salary range: $57,582.12 – $106,345.10
