Join the Audio Diary Processing and Crediting Team as a Keyer Specialist, reviewing data from Nielsen respondents' 7-day audio listening diaries. Keyer Specialists serve as subject matter experts, resolving ambiguous information and data anomalies flagged by Nielsen systems or data entry personnel. Prior experience as a "Keyer" and successful completion of related training and assessments are required. Responsibilities include resolving time-related data issues, evaluating written information to determine diary keeper comments and intent, and applying modifications to entries. The role demands understanding and following complex business rules and procedures, managing workload, adhering to quality and productivity goals, and assisting with special projects.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- 1-2 years experience in a production or related environment
- Exhibits excellent analytical, research, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong reading comprehension for documented procedures
- Strong computer and typing skills (data entry)
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Proven accuracy and execution, with ability to follow explicit instructions
- Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet delivery deadlines
- Must have a stable internet connection and ability to work from home in a quiet setting
Responsibilities
- Review data from a 7-day audio listening diary completed by Nielsen respondents
- Serve as subject matter experts and an escalation point for diaries flagged by Nielsen systems and/or Nielsen data entry personnel due to ambiguous information and/or data anomalies
- Resolve time related data issues, such as 1) determine AM vs PM time assignment based on where an entry is listed within a page 2) determine duration of listening as well as start/stop times 3) determine the appropriate radio daypart 4) adjust times due to unique information provided / special circumstances
- Evaluate written information to: 1) determine diary keeper comments/intent and apply modifications to entries 2) determine how to handle difficult to read/illegible entries 3) standardize entries based on set criteria 4) group/combine entries based on set criteria
- Understand, interpret, and follow a complex set of business rules and procedures
- Manage assigned workload and adapt to reprioritization as necessary
- Adhere to quality and productivity goals
- Understand production workflow and daily deadlines
- Assist with special projects as needed to meet critical operations and/or client concerns
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
