Data Steward Intern

Summary

Join Owkin, an AI biotechnology company, as a Data Steward intern to contribute to building multimodal healthcare datasets and advancing biomedical research. As an intern, you will assist the Data Operations team in supporting operational tasks, help develop templates and processes, manage team progress, support the development of RFPs, and contribute to the elaboration of the strategy of the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Data Operations team members in supporting operational tasks, including hands-on involvement with data when necessary
• Help develop templates and processes describing the activities of the team & its coordination with other teams
• Help manage team progress by organizing meetings and agendas, preparing contents in collaboration with other teams and external partners, keeping minutes
• Support the development of RFPs (Requests for Proposal) to manage outsourcing activities
• Contribute to the elaboration of the strategy of the team
• Building tools and reports in a Python environment to support the Data Operations team, effectively execute projects, monitor progress, communicate project updates, and manage outsourcing
• Identifying potential issues in project execution & monitoring, and propose scalable solutions
