Join Bird's Data Team as a Data Analyst and contribute to making cities more livable, sustainable, and efficient. You will leverage your data analysis skills to provide actionable insights, communicate findings through compelling dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves creating ETLs, conducting data modeling and analysis, and championing the analytics process. You will work with large datasets from various databases and present data-driven recommendations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, economics, or finance from a competitive school
- Highly Proficient in SQL
- 1-2+ years of experience using data to facilitate business or product decisions

Responsibilities
- Leverage your experience and skills to distill and distribute highly reliable and actionable data and insights throughout the company
- Communicate via compelling, easy-to-use dashboards or analysis the state of our business and products, operational performance, experiment results, and potential opportunities for growth
- Represent the data team in communications and internal workshops on best practices for retrieving and measuring our business activity
- Influence and inform cross-functional teams through write-ups, meeting and presentations of data-based recommendations
- Write ETLs to make product data consumable for our internal data and product customers
- Conduct hands-on modeling/analytics retrieving, compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data from disparate databases into distilled, actionable information and insights
- Champion the analytics process β from measurement strategies, data preparation, modeling, cleansing and evaluation
- Lead by example and help educate business stakeholders with varying technical or non-technical backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field, economics, or finance from a competitive school
- Fluency in either R or Python strongly desired: candidates should be able to acquire, manipulate, transform, and visualize data using these languages
- Understanding of data warehouse architecture and data design
