Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years in database administration within enterprise systems
- Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based, with preference for Treasury and IRS experience
- Familiarity with database monitoring and tuning tools
- Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and implement optimized and scalable relational and columnar databases in AWS (RDS, Redshift) and hybrid environment
- Assist in modernizing and migrating legacy databases (e.g., Oracle and DB2) to cloud-native platforms
- Monitor and improve database performance through indexing, query optimization, and storage configuration
- Conduct routing maintenance, patching, schema updates, and data migration tasks with minimal downtime
- Work closely with cross-functional and vendor teams to deliver seamless data operations and project execution
