DC Installer

Summary

The job involves assisting a Level IV lead installer in DC power equipment installation and maintenance tasks. The position is based in Albany, New York with potential for work in other states. The employee must complete a 90-day probationary period.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in DC power equipment installation
• Minimum of 2 years of experience of the addition or removal of wiring and connections on DC power equipment or addition or removal of telecom batteries
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by working with the lead installer to execute sales transactions which address and provide product / applications solutions to complex business issues
• Perform work operations on working equipment or circuits with direct supervision from lead installer
• Assist in the addition or removal of telecom batteries
• Assist the lead installer in performing equipment testing and turn-up
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
• Communicate with the lead installer on all aspects of the job throughout the duration of the job
• Perform work assignments assigned by lead installer/supervisor
