Summary

Join GHX's Deal Operations team as a Deal Desk Analyst and support assigned deals by understanding and advising on deal scope, coordinating system entry, and owning deal review and approval. Collaborate cross-functionally on complex terms, ensure accurate system entry and documentation, and maintain alignment throughout the sales cycle. Serve as the point of contact for assigned sales teams, building relationships, addressing questions, and supporting sales training. Contribute to reporting, data analytics, process improvement, and ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, accounting, operations, or related field
  • 4+ yearsโ€™ experience in a Deal Desk, Quoting, Sales or Revenue Operations role
  • Understanding of SaaS deal structure, including ability to advise on booking ramifications based on deal scope
  • Experience using a CPQ and CRM
  • Comfortable operating under pressure/with a sense of urgency or in a high-growth business
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving mentality, with an ability to independently navigate internal resources and escalate as necessary
  • Agile and adaptable to quickly adjust to commercial changes that impact deal structure standards
  • Working knowledge of commercial processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functionally
  • Strong time management skills and organization skills with ability to manage a large account base and prioritize to meet goals
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support alignment cross-functionally on deal structuring, processes, and policies with support from Senior Deal Deak Analyst/manager on complex scope
  • Analyze account, asset, and contract data along with deal structure and explain commercial and business implications to Sales
  • Manage requests for quote support and review/approval processes for standard scope and triage complex scope with Senior Deal Deak Analyst/manager on complex scope within set SLA
  • Partners with sales and manager to advise on optimal deal structure, discounting best practices, and standard commercial terms
  • Support the construction of customer ready quotes that comply with business policies and requirements
  • Research and consider account, asset and contract data in the evaluation and strategy for deal structuring
  • Ensure all non-standard commercial terms are reviewed, approved and properly entered/documented in systems in accordance with business requirements in partnership with Senior Deal Deak Analyst/manager
  • Provide downstream commercial teams with content and clarification on complex deal structure as how it relates to contracting, invoicing, and financial impacts
  • Help build tools and resources to improve Sales efficiency in deal-making and proposal building processes
  • Support the creation or revamp of training materials and support sales training
  • Identify opportunity for process improvement, and in conjunction with leadership implement solution to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Assist with CPQ process enhancements and process documentation as assigned
  • Attend and participate in Sales QBRs, forecast calls, and assigned regional meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry
  • Experience within a B2B sales
  • Excel and reporting skills
  • Experience with Conga CPQ (Apttus) and Salesforce (CRM) specifically
  • Ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships and explain changes to policies and procedures in terms other teams will understand
  • Active listener and comfortable engaging in challenging conversations
