DeFi Analyst

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact
• Hungry and motivated about making progress towards our mission of Enabling everyone in the world to use crypto with peace of mind

• Able to clearly talk about the details and also zoom out to the bigger picture
• Ability to view complex transactions on a block explorer (Etherscan and Solscan) and translate them into a clear story (what did the user do?)
• Familiarity with EVM
• Familiarity with Solana
• Ability to use our current DeFi coverage tools to solve a variety of DeFi use cases. For situations that cannot be solved by current tooling, the candidate should be able to propose specific product improvements that will unlock additional use cases
• Ability to analyze onchain data with analytics tools such as Dune and/or Flipside
• Familiarity with a query language (SQL, postgreSQL, Dune SQL, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify the top dapps and smart contracts that users are interacting with and add support for those dapps to automatically categorize transactions in CoinTracker
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize improvements to enhance tax accuracy for various DeFi scenarios
• Design a system of rules to track DeFi (staking, lending, liquidity pools, etc) positions accurately on user portfolios

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with 1 other smart contract compatible blockchain
