Requirements

• Have at least two years of experience in crypto, traditional finance, consulting, or data analytics and want to grow your impact
• Bring a passion for crypto, including a willingness to research new topics and change your opinions along the way
• Be thrilled at the opportunity to regularly work with data and derive some of your best conclusions from it
• Come with domain expertise about topics like DeFi, NFTs, layer 1s, and more, and can't wait to share your learnings
• Enjoy writing long-form research about complex narratives and ideas in a way that is clear, cohesive, accurate, and can be understood by a general audience
• Be able to swiftly comprehend complex topics and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Author industry-leading research reports: Conduct deep research that provides investable insights to subscribers. Be receptive to topic selection as designated by others on the team. Be the boots on the ground, reaching out to crypto founders and investors, always searching for what’s next
• Stay informed on all things crypto: Have your finger on the pulse of the market to deliver timely updates to your teammates and subscribers. Constantly read and consume information, and update your worldview based on new information
• Tell the world: Professionally communicate with our audience through X, Telegram and other mediums about the state of the crypto industry and where it is moving
• Wear many hats: Contribute to many projects, and adapt to the needs of a flexible team at a growing organization. Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience and demonstrated success in data visualization skills, especially using SQL, R, or Python
• Have experience in financial modeling & valuation
• Be deeply degen
