Summary
Join Airtable's Professional Services team as a Delivery Consultant and help transform how our enterprise clients work. You will partner with colleagues to manage and deliver client implementations of the Airtable platform, deeply understanding client needs and building custom solutions. This role requires strong project management, communication, and technical skills, along with experience in professional services or consulting. You'll work with clients to map complex processes, advise on best practices, and develop solution architecture designs. You'll also contribute to shaping internal processes and creating resources for internal and external stakeholders. Requirements
- You are an avid Airtable user with deep product experience; you grasp the fundamental principles of database design
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence — you demonstrate the ability to work effectively in undefined or evolving situations, leveraging problem-solving skills, adaptability, and proactive communication to achieve clarity and drive progress for customer outcomes
- Ability to understand and customize messaging and consulting across verticals, use cases and geographies
- You are detail-oriented and passionate about creating unique solutions to complex business problems
- You have a keen understanding of business workflows and are comfortable using process mapping tools
- You’re well-versed in database design and governance best practices and familiar with the Enterprise SaaS technology landscape
- You have excellent communication skills: you can modulate your style to engage stakeholders of varying seniority and technical backgrounds, and you deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
- You have 5+ years of experience in a professional services or consulting role
- You have excellent project management and communication skills, and are confident prioritizing across concurrent and time-sensitive projects and priorities
- You’re able to distill complex or technical concepts and communicate them clearly to a broad range of business and technical stakeholders
- You are results-oriented and maintain a high quality of work. You have a track record of creating impact for your customers with a keen attention to detail
- You’re excited to create and shape new processes and workflows as part of a new and fast-growing team
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand clients' business processes, pain points, desired outcomes, and requirements
- Advise on best practices for integrating Airtable into their workflow and provide prescriptive recommendations on configuration
- Manage project plans when delivering single consultant engagements, ensuring on time delivery, risk mitigation, and regular project communications including status updates
- Collaborate with Services and Partner team members on larger engagements
- When necessary, develop solution architecture designs that align with clients' objectives and requirements
- Developer mindset - provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams throughout the implementation process, addressing concerns or issues that arise
- Create documentation to support solution development and train customers on their new workflows
- Manage multiple implementations simultaneously, proactively communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time and in-scope solution delivery
- Surface trends and patterns across implementations, identifying best practices and creating resources for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide insights from customer implementations that help shape Airtable’s product roadmap
- Provide builder, end user training, and admin guidance when needed
- When necessary, partner with Airtable Engagement Managers to validate scope for professional services engagements
Benefits
- For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is: $131,800 — $194,000 USD
- For all other work locations (including remote), the base salary range for this role is: $118,600 — $174,600 USD
- The opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation
