Delivery Leader

Summary

Join Delivery Associates as a Delivery Leader in the Asia-Pacific region and work with governments, foundations, and public sector partners on impactful projects. Collaborate with public sector leaders to solve problems, build consensus, and implement policies and programs. Utilize flagship delivery tools and methods to achieve results, combining them with curiosity, energy, and dedication. Support clients in using data to improve decision-making, facilitate problem-solving, design stakeholder workshops, and engage with frontline service providers. The role involves working independently and as part of a team, producing high-quality deliverables, and leading project management for fast-paced projects. Grow alongside partners and contribute to expanding work in Australia, South-East Asia, and the Pacific.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant, full time work experience in government, consulting, public policy, project management and/or impact measurement
• Business level proficiency in English
• Familiarity working in the standard business suite (analysing data in spreadsheets, creating presentations, etc)
• Must be based in and have right to work in Australia or Philippines
• Remote working environment, with willingness to travel up to 25-50%
• A positive and solutions-oriented outlook on the potential for governments to deliver meaningful results for people

Responsibilities

• Build trust-based relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of clients across government, philanthropic organisations, nonprofit and advocacy to achieve shared goals
• Lead problem solving by breaking down problems to identify root causes, extracting insights from data and developing hypotheses and actionable solutions for clients
• Provide challenging and practical feedback to colleagues and clients to help them grow
• Work independently and as part of a team to support the clients, with guidance and direction from Project Leaders, and supporting Associates to structure their work as part of a team effort
• Produce high quality products including presentations, reports and client engagement sessions that are clear, compelling, focused and well-structured, and help turn ideas into action
• Lead project management for fast-moving and agile projects to bring clear structure, planning and sequencing to day to day work for the team
• Support clients to implement plans and monitor progress with a mindset and approach to work that embodies pace, optimism and urgency
• Stay focused and navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, consistently steering large coalitions back to a single-minded focus on priority outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management, particularly on multi-stakeholder projects
• Demonstrated experience and strong skills in using data to drive decision making and track impact, as well as building capacity in others to use data
• Over 3 years experience in using evidence and analysis to help governments or programs make sound decisions
• Over 3 years experience working directly in a public sector or public sector-adjacent position gaining insights into different delivery approaches
