Requirements

  • At least 4 years of commercial experience in a similar role (Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Project Leader, Project Manager, Project Coordinator roles)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivered projects for Pharma/BioTech
  • Domain knowledge, meeting at least 3 of the following: (a) Good understanding of fundamental concepts in molecular biology and bioinformatics, b) Familiarity with software and tools used for data analysis in clinical trials, c) Familiarity with clinical trials data standards (CDISC), d) Familiarity with data flow in research and clinical trials and how data is generated, processed, and visualised (and extra points for hands-on experience with the project!)
  • Understanding of modern software development process
  • Experience in managing/leading/mentoring cross-functional teams in a multinational environment (not necessarily software engineers)
  • Being okay with traveling to clients and conferences (~4 times per year)
  • Having proven experience in remote work, like remote-first working cultures
  • Being the communication and listening specialist (with openness, patience, emotional intelligence and high personal culture)
  • Openness for working with European & American clients (adjusting to timezones)

Responsibilities

  • Guide the Customer during the project
  • Advise on the release process
  • Advise how to achieve impact
  • Challenge Customer plans to find an optimal approach
  • Escalate risks in a timely manner
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction
  • Superpleasing - exceeding client expectations by delivering exceptional service beyond the agreed scope
  • Have a deep understanding of Customer goals within the project we are working on
  • Understand how the Customer measures the business impact of the project
  • Provide the Customer with the best service experience
  • Build a strong relationship with the Customer
  • Ensure that the Customer has confidence that you understand their business needs
  • Build long-term relationships and trust by surprising clients with added value, proactive insights, and personalized attention
  • Be able to discuss and address specific technical issues
  • Share your prior experience in the clinical trials area
  • Have regular meetings with client and discuss their challenges
  • Visit clients on-site
  • Have an impact on projectsโ€™ continuity
  • Ensure that the Customer is successful thanks to our project and wants to continue working together
  • Develop a perfect understanding of the customer organization and decision-making progress
  • Manage the team directly
  • Be a direct manager of 2-14 individual contributors
  • Provide career support and finding opportunities to grow
  • Identify growing talents and underperformers and acting on it in a timely manner
  • Be a part of Project/Product Management - if needed, you will take over the role of a Project/Product Manager who works hands-on in the project, by managing the backlog, handling communication with the customer, clarifying requirements and supporting software engineers

  • Salary of 4750-5500 USD (EUR or PLN also possible!) on a B2B contract
