Dental Biller

Summary

MedCore Solutions is seeking a remote Dental Collections Specialist with at least 2-3 years of experience to manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. The position requires proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix/OpenDental software and a strong understanding of dental billing procedures and insurance processes.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Collections Specialist or Dental Biller (US healthcare)
• Strong understanding of dental billing procedures and insurance processes
• Knowledge of dental insurance claims and reimbursement
• Experience in handling collections and resolving outstanding balances
• Able to make phone calls to patients with outstanding balances for collection purposes
• Understanding of dental insurance claims process and ability to read EOB’s and chart notes in Eaglesoft
• Able to create smart invoices and export to email if requested by patient
• Write down credit card payment information-including card number, name on credit card, expiration date, CV code and amount to be charged
• Amenable to work from home in a graveyard shift

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze dental insurance claims
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and patient balances
• Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and dental providers to resolve billing and collection issues
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of insurance claims and maintain updated records
• Identify and resolve any denials, rejections, or discrepancies in billing
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to billing and collections
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental billing guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient in Eaglesoft/Dentrix/OpenDental software
