Summary

The Deputy Data Director for Reporting & Analytics will manage statewide reporting and analytics systems for a field campaign in six Congressional Districts across New York State. The role involves creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying new data sources. This position is remote and offers a pay range of $5,000 to $7,000 monthly with benefits including a health insurance stipend.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, preferably within a political campaign or advocacy organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one of: SQL, R, Python, or Stata
• Proficiency in at least one of: Looker, Tableau, Periscope, or another reporting system

Responsibilities

• Developing data processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for strategic voter engagement
• Managing the campaign’s reporting systems, including generating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track campaign progress, performance, and key metrics for technical and non-technical audiences
• Providing daily and weekly reports to stakeholders
• Working with the Data Director to identify, clean, and analyze new data sources
• Using data creatively to answer staff and partner questions and for strategic decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in VAN/VoteBuilder
• Experience with BigQuery
