Summary

The ACLU of Florida seeks a Campaign Intern to support their electoral campaign work, focusing on civil rights and civil liberties issues. This is a temporary part-time, remote position that will report to the Deputy Political Director.

Requirements

Completion of 1 year of undergraduate school or evidence of lived or work experience relevant to the role

Responsibilities

  • Research assigned races, candidate positions, and support the development of advocacy materials
  • Support outreach efforts through data entry, management and report development
  • Monitor and track campaign developments, and assist with campaign performance tracking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Innate curiosity, passion and initiative
  • Ability to organize information and data to facilitate understanding
  • Comfort with technology and working with data
  • Experience working with CRMs or NG VAN is a desired, but not required
  • Comfort in working independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in a language other than English (esp. Spanish or Creole) is desired, but not required
  • Commitment to the mission and goals of the ACLU, including a demonstrated commitment to equity and racial justice

Benefits

$15 per hour
