Derivatives Operations Specialist

Summary

Join Derivative Path, an award-winning financial technology firm, as a Derivatives Operations Specialist. You will be the primary point of contact for client and internal operational inquiries, handling day-to-day responsibilities supporting clients and sales teams. Responsibilities include interest rate derivatives (IRD) and FX trade validation, reporting, confirmation generation, and delivery; IRD reset notice generation and delivery; end-of-day and month-end processing; system entity/user setup; legal entity identifier support; pre-trade compliance; KYC support; counterparty tracking; DTCC onboarding; and legacy portfolio onboarding. This role requires 5+ years of professional development experience, a B.S. in Finance or a related field, and experience with IRDs, FX, and compliance. Impeccable attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience
• B.S Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Experience with interest rate derivatives, FX, and compliance KYC tasks
• Impeccable attention to detail and consistent accuracy
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, including proactive customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, adapt, and complete tasks with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Manila Time)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact/first response for both client and internal operations-related inquiries
• Validate new trades for Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) and FX; generate GTR reports for IRD, FX, and Commodity Derivatives; generate and deliver IRD confirmations
• Generate and deliver IRD reset notices; perform IRD and FX End of Day processing; perform IRD Month end processing including generation and delivery of numerous client reports
• Manage DerivativeEDGE System Entity/Users setup & distribution lists
• Handle Legal Entity Identifier registration, renewal, and client inquiry support
• Provide pre-trade compliance documentation support and generation
• Gather internal KYC information and support eventual sign-off by our internal compliance team
• Track and maintain counterparty information and documentation
• Onboard clients onto IRD and FX DTCC systems and set up accounts
• Onboard legacy IRD portfolios
