Design Team Intern

Summary

The job is an internship position at BCI Brands, a fashion company. The intern will assist in design team operations, maintain a fabric library, observe the development process, and help with office organization. A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is required, and the candidate must be able to commit to at least 5 days a week, although flexibility may be considered for candidates who are in school.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of a design team
• Update presentation and sketch boards
• Exposure to creating and updating tech packs
• Maintain fabric and trim library
• Observe the development process from tech pack to showroom sample to bulk production
• Organize and prep showrooms and showroom samples
• Assist in overall office organization

Preferred Qualifications

Must be able to commit to at least 5 days a week, but if the candidate happens to be in school and cannot provide 5 days a week, we are open to accommodate to 3-4 days

Benefits

Offering an hourly rate of $16/hour
