Developer Advocate

Summary

Supra is a well-funded startup in the information services sector with a team of professionals and academics from leading institutions. They are looking for an experienced Developer Advocate to build out their Developer Relations program. Responsibilities include creating and operating developer communities, responding to technical inquiries, interfacing with internal and external teams, developing onboarding resources, presenting at conferences, and creating tools and APIs. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience with open-source projects, professional experience in blockchain or Web3, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and proficiency in programming languages like Rust/Move/Solidity/Javascript.

Requirements

• 2+ years of actively engaged experience with open-source projects
• Professional experience in blockchain, crypto, and Web3, especially in blockchain infrastructure or DeFi
• Bachelor's in Computer Science
• Proficiency in programming languages, especially in Rust/Move/Solidity/Javascript

Responsibilities

• Help create and operate the developer relations community on Gitter/GitHub
• Respond to technical inquiries and product-related issues in a timely manner to support developers building with or on Supra
• Interface with internal and external technical teams, translating challenges and feedback into actionable insights to improve product
• Developing high-quality onboarding resources such as demo apps, code templates, technical guides, tutorials, and blog posts
• Presenting at developer conferences, hackathons, boot camps, and other developer workshops
• Hosting webinars and other developer engagement sessions on Discord and Twitter to grow our community (webinars, workshops and hackathons)
