Developer Relations Engineer

Summary

Join Ava Labs as a Developer Relations Engineer and become a vital link between Avalanche and its global developer community. Grow and engage the developer community by building a thriving network, collaborating with community managers, and creating impactful technical resources. Develop technical content, build example applications, and deliver workshops and events to educate developers. Represent Avalanche at global conferences and advocate for developers by providing feedback and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to enhance the developer experience. This role requires deep blockchain knowledge, proficiency in relevant programming languages, strong communication and community engagement skills, and a willingness to travel.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, with a strong understanding of Layer 1 networks
• Familiarity with Avalanche’s ecosystem, including its core architecture and whitepapers
• Proficiency in building with Solidity, TypeScript, or similar languages
• Experience creating developer-focused content, such as documentation, tutorials, and blog posts
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire audiences
• Proven experience building and nurturing developer communities
• Hands-on participation in events such as hackathons and conferences
• Solid understanding of Git and other open-source tools and workflows
• Willingness to travel globally to attend and host conferences, workshops, and hackathons

Responsibilities

• Grow and engage the developer community
• Build and support a thriving global network of developers using Avalanche
• Collaborate with regional Community Managers to enhance engagement strategies
• Develop technical content for the Avalanche Developer Hub
• Build example applications (e.g., Solidity, TypeScript) for the Avalanche Starter Kit
• Host workshops, webinars, and in-person events to educate developers on Avalanche’s technical capabilities
• Represent Avalanche at global conferences, meetups, and hackathons
• Serve as the voice of the developer community, providing feedback to internal teams on features, tools, and documentation
• Assist developers in troubleshooting issues and integrating with Avalanche’s tech stack
• Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to enhance the developer experience

Familiarity with Avalanche’s ecosystem, including its core architecture and whitepapers

Benefits

Salary Range: $116,320 to $145,400
