Summary
Join the Wormhole Foundation as a DevRel Engineer and play a key role in driving the adoption of our multichain products. As the most technically proficient member of a growing DevRel team, you will focus on creating code examples, exploring new use cases and integrations, and documenting these efforts. You will also contribute to technical documentation, support developer outreach programs, and contribute to the overall DevRel strategy. This role involves working with the broader developer community, partners, and integrators. The ideal candidate possesses proven DevRel experience in the crypto space, strong technical skills, and a passion for developer engagement. A strong understanding of multichain protocols and DeFi is highly valued.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevRel Engineer or similar role on a top team in crypto
- Highly technical, ideally with a strong understanding of multichain protocols and DeFi
- Domain expertise in one or multiple blockchain platforms (e.g. EVM, SVM, Moove, etc..)
- Passion for engaging with developers and building developer communities
- You enjoy and have experience of working proactively across a range of matters and projects in a fast paced and unstructured environment
- You have excellent communication skills and have experience of developing effective working relationships at senior levels across all functions
- Highly motivated, creative, and results-driven self-starter with a passion for crypto
- Excited to work in a results-driven, high agency, and high ownership environment
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the developer community and the Wormhole core contributors
- Create code example content: Write code examples, including accompanying copy describing the idea, features, usage and security considerations
- Assist with protocol integrations: Answering questions in discord/telegram/slack, writing example code, implementing difficult features on integrators behalf
- Develop and maintain technical documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including documenting new features and improving existing documentation
- Collaborate with partners and ecosystem teams to work on joint projects
- Support developer outreach activities like hackathons, education programs and other events
- Contribute to the overall Developer Relations strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and developer needs
