Developer Relations Engineer

Summary

As a Developer Relations Engineer at Nillion, you will work to build and maintain projects, engage with the Web3.0 community, and help develop technical content on a global stage. The role requires occasional travel to key industry events and involves working closely with engineering and product teams to define and enhance the developer experience. Essential skills include 2+ years of software development experience, solid understanding of software development practices, system architecture, and modern web development, open source contributions, communication and interpersonal skills, and community engagement skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• Solid understanding of software development practices, system architecture, and modern web development
• Open source contributions with clear, maintainable code and documentation or strong technical blogs with embedded code examples
• Community Engagement Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage with and support developers
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain projects to showcase Nillion's Technology
• Help develop technical content to engage with the Web3.0 Community on a global stage
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to define and enhance the developer experience
• Build and maintain example projects that demonstrate Nillion's technology and serve as practical guides for developers
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, write technical content and release notes, and create systems diagrams
• Actively participate in and moderate discussions on platforms like Discord and GitHub
• Travel to key industry events and meetups to engage with the community, gather insights, and promote Nillion's technology
• Collaborate regularly with both engineering and product teams to align on developer needs and product capabilities
• Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure that communications and campaigns accurately reflect the technical depth and innovation of Nillion products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with different programming paradigms and environments in both web2 and web3
• Python, JavaScript (TypeScript), Solidity and / or Rust experience
• Cryptography Knowledge, Familiarity with cryptography concepts, especially Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)
