Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Proven experience in fastener and screw development with a strong project portfolio
• Experience in the design, testing, and validation of fasteners
• Proficiency in CAD software and relevant engineering tools
• In-depth knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and fastener industry standards

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development process of fasteners and screws, from conceptualization to prototyping and final production
• Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to fastener technology
• Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and technical documentation for new fasteners and screws
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure products meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturability requirements
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for fastener production, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness
• Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to validate the performance and reliability of developed fasteners
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality control, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of new fastener designs into the production process
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and contribute to product positioning
