Summary

Join Altium's A365 DevOps team as a fully remote DevOps Engineer, contributing to the development and maintenance of our cloud platform. You will collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring platform stability and scalability. This role requires extensive experience with Linux/Windows systems, Kubernetes, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code. You will build and optimize CI/CD processes, deploy and monitor applications, and mentor team members. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE environment
  • 4+ years of experience working with Linux, Windows systems
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2,EKS, RDS, Opensearch, S3, Storage, Route53 and network appliances
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as a Code approach (Terraform preferred)
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Good understanding of microservice architecture
  • Good experience in Monitoring k8s clusters, APM, services and infrastructure located in AWS (NewRelic)
  • Ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, Powershell
  • Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools used with microservices
  • Coding Experience

Responsibilities

  • Have clear and solid relationships with software development departments
  • Plan and document work and projects
  • Build and continuously optimize CI/CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and applications deployment
  • Build a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate regions
  • Deploy, monitor and scale application services
  • Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing
  • Participate in project management and on-going strategic planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering, Transit Gateways, subnet, and security groups
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab or alternative Continuous Integration systems
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS and Domain
