DevOps Engineer

Summary

Join a fast-growing SaaS company, BillingPlatform, as a DevOps Engineer. Utilize the latest technologies in an AWS environment, collaborate with development and QA teams, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

Requirements

• Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, or another scripting language
• Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleagues
• Ability to understand project requirements and be innovative in finding solutions in highly regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Maintain and create Dockerfiles and Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible
• Use ticket management systems such as Jira and Confluence to manage work priorities
• Work closely with developers on the team to troubleshoot issues

Preferred Qualifications

• High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
• Understanding of cloud, SaaS, and IoT architectures and their implications to information security and data privacy strategies
