Summary
Join BMLL's Infrastructure Engineering team as an AWS DevOps Engineer (CI/CD) and contribute to designing, maintaining, and securing automated CI/CD pipelines. You will implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform, embed quality and security gates, and manage package repositories. Responsibilities include implementing cybersecurity monitoring, ensuring team ownership of cloud infrastructure, and utilizing tools like AWS CLI, Python, Boto3, and more. This full-time role offers a hybrid work arrangement with a London office presence. Key goals for 2025 include transitioning to product-aligned pipelines, maintaining ISO27001 compliance, and establishing a robust DevOps culture. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in CI/CD, IaC, containerization, and AWS infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven CI/CD pipeline development and management experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform)
- Containerisation and orchestration expertise (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
- Strong hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, including: IAM, ECS, EC2, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, VPC / VPN, Route 53, AWS Organisations, S3 (Storage Tiers, Lifecycles), CloudFront distribution
- Experience with proactive management and team ownership of cloud infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automated and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform for automated provisioning and management
- Embed integrated quality and security gates within CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and automate cybersecurity monitoring and controls
- Manage package repositories and security solutions with JFrog SaaS Artifactory and GitHub Advanced Security
- Ensure team ownership, accountability, and proactive management of Cloud infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications
- Familiarity with SIEM solutions and Security Incident Management
- Cybersecurity awareness or certification
- Data engineering familiarity (EMR, ETL)
- Coaching or mentoring experience
