Summary
Join Fulcrum, a team of tech-savvy IT professionals, as a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment processes using AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. This position requires extensive experience in DevOps engineering, AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will possess strong scripting skills and experience with monitoring and logging tools. Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on IT experience, mainly as a DevOps engineer
- Strong experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and networking
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and related tools (ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm)
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and other automation tools
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including deployment strategies using ArgoCD, Kustomize, and GitHub Actions
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery
- Implement best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty)
- Extensive experience with cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies and advanced networking concepts in Kubernetes
- Familiarity with NATS, Vercel, Kafka, Rabbit MQ
