Summary
Join our team and contribute to the support, maintenance, and improvement of our CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. You will manage and monitor our cloud infrastructure in AWS, deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes clusters, and monitor system health and application performance. Responsibilities include supporting and troubleshooting PostgreSQL databases, collaborating with developers, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to infrastructure-as-code. You will also participate in post-incident reviews to improve reliability. We offer a remote work environment and competitive compensation.
Requirements
- Comfortable with using and troubleshooting AWS services
- Writes, maintains, and optimizes GitLab CI/CD pipelines (including caching and dynamic environments)
- Proficient in Docker and experienced with core Kubernetes concepts (ConfigMaps, Secrets, Deployments, Helm)
- Manages and rotates secrets using HashiCorp Vault (solid understanding of auth methods and policy structure)
- Understands Kafka fundamentals (producers, consumers, basic CLI tools)
- Builds and maintains Grafana dashboards for observability
- Confident in managing PostgreSQL configurations and backups (e.g., pg_dump , WAL shipping)
- Familiar with incident response practices and system health monitoring
- Working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD for infrastructure management and deployments
- Good knowledge of English and fluent russian language
Responsibilities
- Support, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
- Deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes clusters
- Monitor system health and application performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and logs
- Support and troubleshoot issues with PostgreSQL databases (connections, performance, backups)
- Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient deployment and reliable environments
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident handling
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm charts)
- Participate in post-incident reviews and improve reliability based on findings
