Summary

Join OffSec, a leading cybersecurity training provider, and contribute to the development, administration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with various departments, automate infrastructure, and create technical documentation. You will identify process bottlenecks, resolve technical issues, and research new tools for improvement. Work closely with infrastructure teams to build new pipelines and processes, and participate in an on-call rotation. This full-time, flexible-hours, remote position requires 3-5+ years of experience with Ansible, Python, corporate IT infrastructure, VMware/OpenStack, and AWS/Azure/GCP.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years experience with Ansible, Tower, or AWX
  • 3-5+ years experience with Python
  • 3-5+ years experience supporting corporate IT Infrastructure
  • 3-5+ years experience working with VMware and/or OpenStack
  • 3-5+ years experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, agile environment and resolve unplanned incidents quickly
  • Strong customer service and relationship management focus
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information in both technical and non-technical terms
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and responsive; requires little supervisory attention

Responsibilities

  • Development, administration, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
  • Coordination with multiple departments on project goals working within tight deadlines
  • Infrastructure as a service automation development
  • Technical documentation and knowledge sharing inside and outside the team
  • Identify bottlenecks in existing processes and take ownership on improving workflow
  • Resolve technical issues, analyze root cause, and determine corrective and preventative actions
  • Research new tools to simplify and improve existing processes
  • Work closely with Infrastructure teams to build out new pipelines and processes for changing business requirements
  • Identify improvements and options to reduce our operating costs in all environments
  • Work with labs and content development teams to help move content from development to production as simply and efficiently as possible
  • Participate in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with tools such as Chef, Puppet, Swarm, Kubernetes, Helm
  • 3+ years experience with Hashicorp tools Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad
  • Experience with migrating workloads from Swarm to K8’s a plus
  • Experience connecting an SDDC to an AWS VPC a plus
