Join TECKpert as a DevOps Engineer to support a government client's website migration project to a cloud-hosted environment on Microsoft Azure. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps, with at least 3 years in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Minimum 5 years experience with Acquia hosting and Drupal deployments
- Experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins for CI/CD
- Experience with Scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker)
- Experience with Cloud IAM and security configuration
- Experience with Monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike)
- Familiarity with USWDS themes and Section 508 compliance
- Experience supporting government agencies or projects requiring FedRAMP environments
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications
Responsibilities
- Architect and configure infrastructure within the Acquia-managed environment on Azure
- Integrate Drupal with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment
- Provision scalable and secure cloud resources (PaaS) using tools like Terraform or Azure ARM templates
- Design and implement CI/CD workflows to support version-controlled deployments and automated testing
- Manage branching strategies, merge policies, and deployment gates
- Enforce security best practices including access management, secrets handling, and network policies
- Support FedRAMP compliance within the hosting environment by configuring logging, monitoring, and audit trails
- Work closely with developers, designers, and analysts to support integration of custom modules, themes, and third-party services
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment cycles with zero-downtime
- Monitor environments using tools such as Azure Monitor, Cloudflare, or equivalent
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues rapidly to ensure uptime and performance targets are met
