DevOps Engineer

Summary

The job is for a DevOps position within the Trustly Americas team. The role involves working with CI/CD pipelines, deploying upgrades and fixes, following security management, tuning and securing Nginx rules, automating tasks, and identifying ways to improve monitoring and system resource utilization.

Requirements

• Knowledge of concepts such as DevOps or Developer or Infrastructure, with a basic background in software architecture techniques and scripting languages such as shell script and/or phyton
• Intermediate Experience in Linux/Unix administration
• Knowledge of concepts Amazon Web Services or another cloud
• Knowledge of concepts CI/CD, GitHub, IaaS
• Knowledge of versioning, Continuous Integration, and traffic monitoring tools
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Cloud Formation, OpenTofu)

Responsibilities

• Work with CI/CD pipeline for our java-based application stack oriented by a Senior DevOps
• Deploy upgrades and fixes into the live platform in no productive environments oriented by a Senior DevOps
• Follow along with a Senior DevOps the security management, system capacity configuration, and upgrades
• Tuning and securing the Nginx rules with orientation
• Be able to automate tasks to minimize downtime and improve consistency with the help of a Senior DevOps
• Identify and document ways of improving monitoring and system resource utilization
