Requirements

  • Experience 7+ years
  • Extensive experience a programming background with experience in any high-level programming language, preferably TypeScript
  • Proficiency in Istio, Kubernetes and related ecosystems
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and automated tools such as Docker, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and GitHub Workflows
  • Experience in integrating code scanning and quality assurance tools into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Prisma Compute)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK with TypeScript
  • Ability to integrate CI/CD pipelines with reporting solutions to measure pipeline efficiency, build frequency, build time, and SLA/SLO compliance
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Sentry
  • Experience with alerting tools like VictorOps and AWS SNS
  • Strong interest in investigating new technologies and methodologies to enhance product support
  • Mentoring the team members to meet the client's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
  • Ensure integration of code scanning and quality assurance tools in pipelines to uphold high-quality standards
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments and related ecosystems
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code practices using AWS CDK and TypeScript to build scalable, reliable infrastructure
  • Implement monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system health and quick incident response
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with robust reporting solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS Public Cloud is preferred
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certification (preferred) or any other professional-level DevOps certification
