Remote Staff DevOps Engineer

This role requires a trained and experienced DevOps engineer with 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating software delivery, and providing documentation. The ideal candidate is familiar with the DoD IT environment, FedRamp processes, and CMMC 2.0 requirements. You will be working with technologies such as AWS, VMWare, Kubernetes, Docker, and more. Requirements

• Be a trained and experienced (4+ years) DevOps engineer
• Understand AWS, Linux, containers, virtual machines, and Kubernetes, and know how to harden them in accordance with RMF security controls and STIGs/SRGs
• Be at home at the command line and be familiar with tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Be familiar with the DoD IT environment, FedRamp processes, CMMC 2.0 requirements, and have first-hand experience managing mission critical systems inside of IL5 and IL6 environments

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to solutions that increase stability, performance, and security of our deployments
• Improve the overall experience of deploying and managing infrastructure on premise and in cloud environments
• Work closely with our site reliability engineers and security engineers to foster secure environments that meet compliance requirements
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Automate software delivery and deployment
• Provide documentation and self-service tools to engineering teams and customers
• Work well with developers to ensure efficient and secure development and operations using automated pipelines and tooling
