Summary

You will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring security and efficiency. Collaborate with clients on Kubernetes or Docker solutions and build CI/CD pipelines. This remote position requires 2-3 years of Kubernetes experience, strong AWS and cloud technology skills, and a deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies. You will need to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days. Requirements

  • Have 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
  • Lead in developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
  • Have strong experience with AWS and cloud technologies
  • Have a deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Have advanced networking experience
  • Have experience with managing Service-Mesh, like Istio
  • Have in-depth knowledge of version control systems like GitLab
  • Have extensive experience in software systems development through CI/CD pipelines
  • Have exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Be dedicated to automation, system efficiency, and security
  • Have experience in setting up and integrating enterprise-grade cloud-based services
  • Have proficiency with Log Management and Analytics tools
  • Be able to oversee CI/CD pipelines using cloud services and automation tools
  • Have experience with Infrastructure as Code and microservices
  • Obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft
  • Be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Actively develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring processes are both secure and efficient
  • Collaborate with clients, designing and implementing Kubernetes or Docker solutions
  • Take part in building CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth software update process
  • Actively participate in the application of GitOps principles for software delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have proficiency in writing custom Helm Charts
  • Have certifications such as CKA or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
  • Have CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Have experience with Air Force Cloud One
