Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in data acquisition, partnerships, or a similar role within the marketing industry and/or financial services industry
  • Deep understanding of consumer and financial data, including data assets and technology providers
  • Proven success in negotiating complex agreements and managing vendor relationships

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential new financial data partnerships to enrich Experian's data offerings
  • Collaborate with strategy and product teams to align data acquisition efforts with our needs and strategic goals
  • Oversee testing, licensing, and integration of new data assets into Experian's systems
  • Build and manage relationships with diverse data providers, including aggregators, Direct to Consumer companies, niche providers, and public data sources
  • Negotiate and complete data licensing agreements and vendor contracts
  • Manage vendor compliance, renewals, and performance reviews
  • Partner with legal and privacy teams to ensure data partnerships comply with relevant regulations and Experian standards
  • Monitor data use to uphold privacy standards and mitigate risks
  • Implement cost management initiatives to optimize ROI on data spend
