Summary
The Director, Deal Desk & Sales Operations role at WorkWave involves supporting the Enterprise Sales team, streamlining the contracting process, and ensuring seamless deal execution. The employee will be responsible for overseeing the review and approval process for deals, redesigning and optimizing the contracting process, supporting the Enterprise Sales team, establishing guidelines and expectations for Sales reps, integrating systems and processes, collaborating with various functions, and ensuring quarter-end success related to revenue recognition, compliance, and sales goals. The required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline, 10+ years of experience in sales support, order management, product strategies, or similar functions, with a minimum of 3-5 years in sales operations within a SaaS environment. Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, and other CRM systems is required.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the review and approval process for all deals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies
- Act as a critical gatekeeper to maintain the integrity of deal data and documentation
- Lead the redesign and optimization of the contracting process to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Partner closely with the Enterprise Sales team to provide strategic support and guidance on complex deals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales reps, providing expert advice on deal structuring, pricing, and contract terms
- Establish clear guidelines and expectations for Sales reps regarding deal submission and approval processes
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure Sales reps are well-versed in Deal Desk procedures and best practices
