Summary

Join Aledade as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to build and lead a centralized, data-driven risk management program. You will develop the ERM architecture, implement a comprehensive risk framework, and collaborate with leadership and stakeholders. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization, utilizing data analytics for reporting and advising Compliance leadership. You will integrate risk management into various departments and develop training programs. This remote-friendly position offers flexibility in location, with options to work from anywhere in the U.S., Bethesda, MD, or Durham, NC. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, governance, or similar roles, ideally in the health care industry
  • Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel 5-10% of the time (e.g., team events, retreats, All Staff)

Responsibilities

  • Own, develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management framework, including policies, methodologies, and tools aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the process of identifying and assessing potential risks across the organization, including strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks
  • Create and execute risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken when necessary to prevent regulatory and/or reputational harm
  • Utilize data analytics to identify risk trends, patterns, and emerging risks, and prepare regular reports for senior management and the Board of Directors. Advise Compliance leadership on risk exposure, tolerance and mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with various departments and business units to integrate risk management into their respective functions and processes
  • Develop and deliver ERM training programs to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture throughout the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in value-based care health care delivery model
  • Experience presenting and reporting to the Board of Directors
  • Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)
  • Prior management experience is a plus
