Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in account management or client success, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams that support large client portfolios
  • Proven success in managing existing client accounts and driving retention and growth, particularly within SaaS,fundraising software solutions, or agency consultant landscape for political campaigns, PACs, or nonprofit organizations
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high-performing team
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-touch accounts and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in politically sensitive and mission-driven organizations
  • Extensive background in creating and executing account management strategies, defining KPIs and success metrics, and driving process improvements to enhance client satisfaction and results
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales metrics and apply insights to improve performance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation in sales processes

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for account management by developing the playbook, building and enabling the team, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals to drive high client satisfaction, retention, and growth across our most strategic accounts
  • Develop and implement strategies that deepen client relationships, drive engagement, and maximize customer lifetime value across our existing portfolio of high-priority accounts
  • Lead a team, ensuring that account plans are developed and deployed to support revenue goals
  • Regularly update senior leadership on account plan progress, challenges, and opportunities
  • Define and drive KPIs, success metrics, and benchmarks for account health, ensuring clients are consistently satisfied, retained, and expanding their use of the platform’s capabilities and the organization’s product offerings
  • Own and improve account management processes, ensuring that workflows, tools, and resources are optimized for efficiency, while equipping the team with the knowledge and support they need to deliver a customer-first experience and maximize client satisfaction and success
  • Work closely across all teams within Customer Experience plus cross-functionally including Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to ensure the effective delivery of solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients
  • Foster a high-performance culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability within the team, ensuring alignment with the broader organization’s objectives and a shared commitment to Democratic wins and goal achievement
  • May support supplementary projects as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient completion in line with organizational objectives and standards
