Summary

Join Alma, a leading mental health care company, as their Director of Compliance! This integral role reports to the Associate General Counsel and involves leading and managing Alma's Compliance Program. Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (or comparable work experience) with a Certification in Healthcare Compliance
  • Have 7-10+ years’ experience within a healthcare compliance setting
  • Have the proven ability to develop and deploy a compliance program and effectively manage others in a fast-paced, high volume, and frequently changing environment
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of compliance issues related to the telemedicine space
  • Have a strong understanding of healthcare coding, billing, and documentation standards as well as revenue cycle processes and procedures
  • Be able to apply a risk-based analysis to compliance issues and demonstrate creativity and flexibility in developing solutions
  • Have a demonstrated ability to operate in a highly visible, fast paced and challenging position successfully and efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall leadership, management, and direction of Alma’s Compliance Program
  • Ensure the infrastructure of Alma’s Compliance Program aligns with the seven elements of an effective compliance program
  • Maintain and further develop a strong culture of ethics and compliance
  • Provide insight and direction to the Executive Leadership Team regarding the overall development and implementation of Alma’s Compliance Program
  • Stay abreast of current industry and enforcement developments, and recommend policy or procedure modifications
  • Facilitate compliance training and education to employees, management, and stakeholders
  • Lead Alma’s compliance-related investigative capabilities
  • Direct periodic risk assessments and conduct related ongoing monitoring activities of Alma’s Compliance Program
