Join ThreatConnect as the Director of Engineering for our Risk Quantification (RQ) team! This critical role involves leading the development of our cyber risk quantification product, leveraging big data analytics and high-throughput processing. You will drive the technical strategy and roadmap, mentor the team, and collaborate cross-functionally with sales and product teams. Requirements
- 7+ years of engineering leadership experience, with deep experience working on complex products in a high-growth environment
- 10+ years of experience in major programming languages with significant .NET experience and front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks (e.g., encryption, authentication, network security, etc.)
- Passion for leading, coaching, and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability
- Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality
- Operates at multiple altitudes, from developing vision and strategy to driving execution
- Have high โEQโ; be even-keeled, flexible, and able to quickly adapt to unexpected changes
- Experience working with software governance and agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams to deliver results consistently and sustainably while holding a high bar for execution and quality
- Independently identify and realize strategies that deliver significant value to our customers and business
- Guide technical strategy, ensuring that your teams are delivering long-term value aligned with RQโs business priorities
- Partner closely with your respective Design, Product, and Go-to-Market counterparts to build best-in-class products and bring them to market
- Build a best-in-class engineering team. Coach, mentor, and create an environment where your team can do their best work and deliver for the business
- Play an integral role in influencing and shaping ThreatConnectsโs engineering culture and strategy
