Summary
Join Productive Playhouse as the Director of Finance and oversee all financial activities, ensuring the company's financial health and strategic growth. This role demands a strong understanding of financial management within a global service-based organization. You will develop and implement financial strategies, manage financial planning and budgeting, and ensure compliance with GAAP and global regulations. Leadership and mentorship of the finance team are crucial, along with collaboration with other departments. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and proficiency in financial software. This is a remote position with occasional in-office attendance required.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a leadership role for a service-based or global company
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and accounting principles
- Strong expertise in corporate banking, including LOCs, debt structuring, and cash flow management
- Experience with international transactions, multi-currency accounting, and global finance operations
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. QuickBooks, NetSuite, and ERP systems)
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, analytical, and decision making skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a multicultural and dynamic environment
- Experience structuring and negotiating financial terms in large-scale service contracts
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth, cost efficiency, and profitability
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and global regulatory requirements while managing financial risk
- Manage cash flow, revenue recognition, and expense controls
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO/CCO/COO, providing financial insights to support data-driven decision-making
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and financial performance
- Oversee tax planning, debt structuring, and risk management, ensuring financial security and compliance
- Implement and maintain financial systems, ERP tools, and internal controls to ensure scalability and accuracy
- Manage international financial operations, including multi-currency transactions, transfer pricing, and global taxation compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA
- Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements for remote, globally distributed teams
