Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 2+ years managing a finance or accounting function in a high-growth or scaling company
- Familiarity with SaaS or subscription-based business models, with a strong understanding of related key metrics
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated track record of collaborating across departments
- Hands-on and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying business insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Passion for building and improving financial processes to support long-term growth
- Must be primarily located in the contiguous US
- Must be authorized to work in the US
Responsibilities
- Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into business performance, variances, and key drivers
- Manage dashboards to track financial and operational KPIs, including SaaS-specific metrics
- Investigate unexpected trends or data anomalies, presenting insights and recommendations to leadership
- Maintain rolling twelve-month forecasts
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensuring scalable processes for billing, collections, expenses, and cash flow management
- Partner with accounting to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, assist with revenue recognition processes, and improve the month-end close cycle
- Identify and implement process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability as the company grows
- Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness to support sustainable growth
- Manage and mentor the Senior Accountant, providing leadership and development opportunities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, and Product to ensure financial data supports business objectives
