Remote Director of Quality

Summary

Join our team as a Director of Quality to lead an agile organization of engineers and quality assurance professionals in championing high-quality Onebrief for military operations.

Requirements

• You are a trained and experienced (5+ years) quality manager, who has successfully championed and improved quality in a startup-like environment
• You have a professional engineering background, ideally some development experience with technologies like React and Node.js
• You have a track record of managing people end-to-end, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing, promoting, performance managing, and letting people go when necessary
• You manage projects well, apply high judgement, and make sure your team delivers timely and predictable results
• You have a comprehensive understanding of the current state of testing and quality technologies and best practices

Responsibilities

• Developing our QA craft, standards and processes, including coaching and team excellence
• Teaching and evangelizing quality assurance principles to our developers, and cultivating a culture of delivering consistently high quality
• Establishing KPIs to evaluate testing efforts, implementing changes as necessary
