Summary

Join dbt Labs as the Director of Solutions Architecture to lead the Northeast Enterprise region's Solutions Architecture team. This leadership role focuses on growing and mentoring a team, driving revenue growth and customer success, and partnering with sales leadership. You will guide the go-to-market strategy, contribute to talent acquisition, and build strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of pre-sales experience, including 3+ years of direct management, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Requirements

  • Live in the Northeastern US (preferably NY metro area) and are willing to work east coast hours
  • 7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity with 3+ years of direct front line management experience (recruiting, ramping, and retaining top talent)
  • Industry experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Architects
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture within the team
  • Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, through value-based selling
  • Guide our GTM strategy in the region by providing insight on sales strategy, product gaps, and advocating for your team’s needs
  • Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates to ensure that we maintain a high talent bar

Experience managing customer relationships in both pre- and post-sales capacities
