Summary
Join Particle Health as the Director, Technical Solutions, leading and scaling our presales and post-sales engineering function. You will own the technical strategy across the customer lifecycle, ensuring our solutions deliver measurable value. This highly impactful role requires a visionary leader comfortable solving technical challenges and developing scalable processes. You’ll work closely with healthcare organizations, helping them leverage our API platform. Lead a high-performing team, drive customer impact across diverse use cases, and collaborate across departments. Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, and / or implementation engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Expertise in healthcare data (medical records and / or claims), regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA), and customer workflows in the healthcare space
- Skilled in consultative selling, with the ability to translate customer pain points into impactful technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale technical teams that deliver measurable results for customers and the business
- A proven track record of fostering high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team cultures
- Deep understanding of healthcare customer types (e.g., payers, providers, digital health innovators, life sciences) and their unique use cases, challenges, and success metrics
- Expertise in designing scalable workflows, integration strategies, and system architecture to meet diverse customer needs
- Exceptional communicator who can effectively engage technical teams, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong collaborator who thrives in fast-paced environments and can align technical initiatives with strategic business goals
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers (Presales) and Implementation Engineers (Post-Sales) who deliver exceptional results across the customer journey
- Define and execute a strategy to scale systems, workflows, and processes that support Particle’s growth while delivering consistent, high-impact outcomes for our customers
- Act as a technical thought leader, guiding teams and customers in solving some of healthcare’s most complex data, analytics and interoperability challenges
- Collaborate with sales to lead consultative, high-value engagements with customers across Provider (VBC and Fee For Service), Payor and Life Science Use Cases
- Leverage a deep understanding of customer workflows and pain points to align Particle’s offerings with their specific needs, driving adoption and long-term success
- Lead technical discovery and craft tailored solutions that highlight the unique value of Particle’s API platform
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and presentations to technical and executive audiences, clearly articulating how our solutions solve real-world challenges
- Anticipate and address technical objections, building trust and confidence throughout the sales process
- Oversee seamless onboarding, integrations, and solution delivery to ensure customers quickly realize the value of our platform
- Partner with Customer Success to track and improve customer usage, satisfaction, and outcomes
- Lead troubleshooting and escalation efforts, ensuring swift resolution of technical challenges while continuously improving processes
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing actionable insights to Product and Engineering teams to inform the product roadmap and enhance our solutions
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies based on customer use cases and industry trends
- Build internal resources, such as playbooks and knowledge bases, to enable teams and customers to maximize the value of our solutions
