Summary

Saviynt is seeking a self-starter for their Director of Tax role. The individual will oversee all tax compliance activities, develop and implement tax planning strategies, assess and mitigate tax risks, prepare and review tax provisions, manage tax audits and controversies, and lead a team of tax professionals. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, along with extensive experience in tax compliance, planning, and strategy, leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, strong communication skills, and proficiency in tax software. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) in tax compliance, planning, and strategy
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of managing tax audits and controversies
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems, such as Netsuite and Avalara

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of international, federal, state, and local tax returns
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's overall tax burden while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Assess and mitigate tax risks associated with the company's business activities
• Prepare and review tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, including responding to information requests and assisting in settlement discussions
