Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a proven track record of leading complex infrastructure projects
  • You have 4+ years of experience leading a technical operations team within a SaaS environment
  • Strong background in AWS and experience with cloud-native architectures
  • Strong background in DevOps practices, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure management, including network administration and end-user support
  • Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, including threat detection, incident response, and compliance
  • Appetite to coach, grow and build strong teams through performance management, career development and training
  • You are a strong technical leader with an aptitude for leading and building the best teams
  • You have strong analytical skills and are a creative thinker, willing and able to come up with solutions to diverse and complex problems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of SaaS cloud operations, ensuring scalability, availability, performance, and cost efficiency of our cloud-based services
  • Oversee the management of cloud resources, including infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and optimization
  • Establish and manage service level agreements (SLAs), uptime targets, and monitoring protocols to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard against potential disruptions
  • Oversee DevOps in partnership with the Development team with responsibility for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and speed of software delivery
  • Drive the adoption of best practices for development workflows, deployment pipelines, and containerization strategies
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard company assets, data, and customer information, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Work diligently to stay abreast of emerging threats and compliance requirements
  • Manage the internal IT function, providing technical support, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring end-user productivity
  • Implement and enforce security policies, data protection measures, and access controls to safeguard sensitive information
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback to team members to drive professional growth and performance
